Welcome to the PrintedFeet blog!
I’m Grace and I’m so happy you’ve chosen to visit my website!
PrintedFeet is a creative writing blog focused on producing helpful articles, motivational encouragement and the occasional book review – all designed to enhance your creative writing experience. As an aspiring author myself, I strive to keep the content of my website authentic and personal – as life should be. My belief is that the best writing encourages improvement in all facets of life: spiritual, mental, emotional and physical.
The name PrintedFeet is inspired by the fact that we all leave footprints behind us as we journey through our life – both verbal and physical, and that essence, concept and life is something I want to capture with my writing. The PrintedFeet journey has been an absolute blessing, and one I am very thankful for the opportunity to pursue. As such, I want to give credit where credit is due. This, combined with my absolute love for reading and writing, has come together to form the title PrintedFeet.
On my site, you will find various articles that include tips, advice, and examples targeted at helping to improve your writing technique and your overall experience as an aspiring author. In addition, you will find short stories that feature engaging characters, utilize various writing styles and exhibit useful techniques covered in my Creative Writing Elements series, as well as the occasional motivation posts and book reviews. Motivation is something all writers need; it’s easy to get bogged down in that manuscript and important to remember that what you’re doing is meaningful. After all, it doesn’t have to be perfect to be worth it.
Alongside this content, you will also find book reviews that discuss what makes the featured novel so captivating. As a writer, it’s important to continue reading – not to copy anyone else’s style but to learn different techniques and perform valuable research to help you expand and improve your craft. My book reviews will focus on the aspects of writing that are important to both the reader and the writer, and it is my hope they will help encourage you and assist you in your journey to one day publishing your own book for review!
Everyone has a story to write, either with their actions or with their words. A simple look at life will show that everyone leaves footprints behind printed with the words of their lives. Our impact in this life is a beautiful, powerful thing that we should never take for granted. Writing is just one of many ways to enjoy our time here on earth, and it’s one of the ways I’ve found to share our experiences and ideas with others.
Thank you for again visiting my website! I want you to know that I value your readership and your time, and am very appreciative of any comments or feedback you may want to provide. Again, thank’s for coming, and I hope you like what you find!
